How to become a Mermaid in Sims 4?

Once your sim reaches level 3 of the Mermaid Mythology skill, go to the build mod and place Moonpool in the current lot. Make sure you have enough simoleons to buy this. The moonpool is used to turn your sim into these mystical creatures. To become a mermaid, wait until the full moon. Once the sky is clear, go to the moonpool and activate it.

Water will fill into the moonpool and certain magic will take place. This will turn your sim into a Mermaid!

Mermaid Ability

Vitality Need: Mermaid is sea creatures so they must stay in the water for quite some time. The vitality system will delay with time, making your mermaid weaker and weaker. You can also use the moonpool for a quick boost in the vitality need. Once the need is very low, your sim will die of old age.

The Moon: Mermaids have a strong interaction in the night, especially with the moon. It reflects their powers and magic on other people. Stay outside in the full moon and increase your Moonstruck and Lunar Energy.

Mermaid Powers: Mermaids are a combination of Humans and sea creatures. They have both creature traits and powers. They also have a variety of unique special abilities. You can learn these abilities by studying mythology books.

First of all, you have to buy the “Queen of the Mermaids” statue, from the build mode(under the sculptures section). You can also search for the word “Queen” once you have installed this mod.

After this, you have to increase your “Observe” and “Queen’s Legend” interaction. Once done, you will have a Fail or success buff depending on your overall performance.

Here are some of the prominent features of the mermaid mod.

Hydration need: The hygiene need is replaced by the hydration need. You have to spend your half-day in the swimming pool, taking a shower, bath or going to the water slide. In short, you just have to find water.

Scale and Tail: A Mermaid can change its tail and scales. You can access this option by going to the “Mermaid Pie menu”.

Singing Ability: “Sirens songs” is an interesting interaction in the mermaid mod. This ability affects other sims in the current lot and grants them positive buffs.
